Mike Evans To Be Game-Time Decision Saturday
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said that wide receiver Mike Evans (knee) will be a game-time decision on Saturday night against the Washington Football Team in the wild-card playoff tilt. The good news is that Evans was testing his hyperextended knee in practice on Thursday after missing practice on Wednesday, and he looked to be comfortable moving around. Evans had a career-high 13 touchdowns this season and has developed excellent chemistry with quarterback Tom Brady, especially in the red zone. But he'll be a risky fantasy option this weekend if he's limited at all. Antonio Brown and Chris Godwin would benefit the most if Evans is limited at all or inactive against Washington. Evans could be a boom-or-bust, touchdown-dependent WR1 if he plays.
