Steelers Activate Eric Ebron From COVID-19 List
4 years agoThe Pittsburgh Steelers activated tight end Eric Ebron and linebacker Cassius Marsh from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday. Ebron was considered a high-risk close contact and did not play in the Week 17 loss to the Browns, but he will be available in the rematch against Cleveland during the wild-card game on Sunday night. The 27-year-old finished the regular season with 56 catches on 91 targets for 558 yards and five touchdowns in 15 games for Pittsburgh. Ebron had just two receptions on four targets for nine yards in the first meeting with the Browns back in Week 6, but he should be able to improve on those numbers against a Cleveland D that allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the position this year. Consider Ebron a midrange starting tight end in fantasy playoff formats, while Vance McDonald will revert to a backup role.
