Mike Evans Has A Chance To Play Against Washington
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (knee) has a real chance to play in the wild-card playoff game against the Washington Football Team on Saturday night after going down awkwardly in the Week 17 win over the Falcons. Evans suffered a hyperextended knee and the MRI exam came back clean for structural damage. He would not have practiced on Tuesday had the Bucs conducted an actual practice. The team's No. 1 pass-catcher is considered day-to-day and there is optimist that he'll be able to play this weekend. Continue to keep a close eye on the 27-year-old's practice status throughout the week. Fantasy managers will feel much more comfortable using him in their lineups as a WR1 if he can get in some limited practices before Friday. Evans has been quarterback Tom Brady's favorite red-zone weapon in 2020, catching a career-high 13 touchdown passes.
