Andrew Whitworth Could Be Activated From Injured Reserve
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that there's a good chance that Pro Bowl left tackle Andrew Whitworth (knee), who tore his MCL and posterior cruciate ligament in Week 10, will be activated from Injured Reserve ahead of the wild-card game against the Seahawks on Saturday. The four-time Pro Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro could be making the final appearance of his career if he plays this weekend. The 39-year-old would be a boost for the offensive line for whoever is under center against Seattle. Quarterback Jared Goff (thumb) had surgery last week and hasn't been ruled out, while John Wolford will make just his second career start this Saturday if Goff isn't ready. Whitworth will have to prove he's healthy enough in practice this week.
