4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns (wrist) has been ruled out for both Tuesday's game against Denver and Thursday's contest versus Portland as he continues to work his way back from a dislocated wrist. Head coach Ryan Saunders sounded optimistic that Towns could get back in the mix in the near future, noting that the big man has been able to handle the ball and should have an update on his status when the team returns home Saturday. Ed Davis has drawn two straight starts at the center spot in place of Towns, while Naz Reid has seen his role increase, giving him deep format season-long appeal.
