Jerry Jeudy Goes Off In Week 17
4 years agoDenver Broncos rookie wide receiver Jerry Jeudy had been limping to the finish line of his rookie season before he exploded in the Week 17 loss to the Raiders on Sunday. Jeudy came out of nowhere to go for a team-high five catches on a team-leading seven targets for 140 yards and a touchdown against Las Vegas in the 32-31 loss. The highlight of the day was his 92-yard touchdown deep down the middle of the field. It was a nice showing for the 21-year-old after struggling for most of the second half of the season. Jeudy finishes with 52 catches for 856 yards and three touchdowns. He was targeted a healthy 113 times in 16 games, but he and quarterback Drew Lock hooked up just 46 percent of the time. Lock's accuracy issues didn't help Jeudy's cause, but he has plenty of long-term upside and is an excellent route-runner. The Alabama product will be worth drafting in the later rounds for his upside next season.
