Kenyan Drake Gains Just 51 Yards In Week 17
4 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Kenyan Drake struggled in the team's season finale against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 17. Drake rushed 10 times for 36 yards and caught two of his three targets for 15 yards. He played most of the game with backup quarterback Chris Streveler as Kyler Murray (ankle) missed most of the game after suffering an ankle injury early on. Murray's absence likely played a big role in Drake's disappointing day. All in all, Drake had a solid, albeit slightly underwhelming season. He rushed for 955 yards and 11 touchdowns. He wasn't heavily involved in the passing game, which lowered his value significantly. Drake is a free agent this offseason. If Drake re-signs with the Cardinals and they don't add any key running backs, Drake will be worth targeting in the early-mid rounds of drafts, especially in non-PPR.
