Kendrick Bourne A Desperation Option In Week 17
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne appears set to be the team's No. 1 receiver in Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks have the league's worst pass defense, allowing 287.9 passing yards per game. With Brandon Aiyuk (ankle) out for the game, Bourne has a chance to see a decent amount of targets, though tight end George Kittle figures to be the top option for quarterback C.J. Beathard. Bourne hasn't been able to deliver much with additional opportunities this year. He's seen at least five targets on nine occasions this year and has topped 50 receiving yards in just four of those games. He has only two touchdowns over 14 games on the year. He's a potential WR3, WR4 or flex option in deep leagues this week, but don't be surprised if you end up being underwhelmed with his performance.
