Broncos Defense Shouldn't Be Trusted In Regular Season Finale
4 years agoWhile the Denver Broncos Defense hasn't been terrible given injuries to key players on that side of the ball in 2020, they also haven't been much of an option for fantasy lineups all season long. That should remain the case in Week 17 against the Raiders, especially if star pass-rusher Bradley Chubb (ankle) is forced to miss his second straight game. Denver was blown out 37-12 against Las Vegas in their first meeting back in Week 10, too. They held impressive rookie quarterback Justin Herbert and the Chargers to just 19 points a week ago, but a lack of turnovers and sacks once again limited their overall impact in fantasy. On the year, Denver's D ranks 26th in overall fantasy points, tied for dead last in fumble recoveries (four) and tied for 27th in interceptions (eight). They still have not scored a defensive touchdown and have allowed the eighth-most points (414). Stay away from them if you still have a fantasy title on the line.
