Andrew Whitworth Returns To Practice
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams left tackle Andrew Whitworth (knee) has returned to practice. Whitworth went down with a torn MCL and hasn't played since the Week 10 win over the Seahawks. The 15-year veteran was hoping to return for a potential playoff run, but it's possible that he'll be available for the Week 17 must-win game against the division-rival Cardinals. Getting the 39-year-old back for this Sunday would be a big positive with backup John Wolford making his first career NFL start in place of Jared Goff (thumb). Joe Noteboom has been serving as the team's blind-side protector since Whitworth went down with his serious knee injury. The four-time Pro Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro could be playing in his final NFL season.
