Mason Rudolph To Start Over Ben Roethlisberger In Week 17
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph will draw the start in Week 17 against the division-rival Browns. Ben Roethlisberger will get a rest before the first round of the playoff with the Steelers having already clinched the AFC North division. The Steelers could rest some of their other starters on offense and defense, which is why most fantasy leagues conclude in Week 16. Rudolph has played in parts of four games this year, going just 3-for-4 for nine yards without a touchdown or interception. In 10 games in place of an injured Big Ben in 2019, the 25-year-old went 176-for-283 (62.2 completion percentage) for 1,765 yards, 13 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Against a Cleveland team with a capable defense still pushing for a playoff spot, Rudolph will be a low-end QB2 for fantasy purposes.
