Danny Amendola Leads Team With Five Receptions
4 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Danny Amendola caught a team-high five passes for 35 yards in the Lions brutal 47-7 loss to the Buccaneers in Week 16 on Saturday. With starting quarterback Matthew Stafford (leg) exiting early with an injury, Amendola led the team in receptions and targets (seven) with backup Chase Daniel under center. The veteran receiver has failed to score a touchdown this season but is averaging 45.75 yards per game over his last four played. With the Lions quarterback situation murky heading into Week 17, Amendola's fantasy value could see a slight uptick in PPR formats. He will head into the final game of the season with 45 receptions for 594 yards.
