Joe Burrow Walking After Surgery
4 years agoCincinnati Bengals rookie quarterback Joe Burrow (knee) sent out a 12-second video on Twitter on Friday that showed him walking for the first time since he underwent successful reconstructive knee surgery on Dec. 2. The first overall pick of this year's draft suffered a season-ending knee injury on Nov. 22 against the Washington Football Team. He tore the ACL and MCL in his left knee and also had partial tears to his meniscus and PCL, according to sources. Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who performed the surgery, said that Burrow was on track to return in time for the 2021 season. Burrow completed 65.3 percent of his passes for 2,688 yards, 13 touchdowns and five interceptions in his 10 games played. He was proving to be one of the best young QBs in the game, and he should be at least a high-end QB2 in his second season if he's fully healthy.
