Terry McLaurin Listed As Doubtful
4 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Terry McLaurin (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Week 16 against the Panthers. McLaurin did not practice all week and likely won't be able to help fantasy managers win a championship this week. It's really bad timing, as McLaurin has become a must-start fantasy wideout in his second season. His absence will make Washington's offense as a whole much less dynamic. It'll also lower the overall ceiling of whoever is starting under center between Alex Smith (calf) and Dwayne Haskins Jr. Expect to see more dump-offs to running back J.D. McKissic, while wide receivers Cam Sims, Steven Sims Jr. and rookie Isaiah Wright will see much bigger roles in the passing game. It'll still be hard to trust any of Washington's pass-catchers during championship week. Tight end Logan Thomas will have more upside as a midrange TE1.
