Derek Carr Good To Go For Week 16
4 years agoLas Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr (groin) was not listed on the team's final injury report on Thursday for Week 16 against the Dolphins on Saturday night. This comes as a pretty big surprise after Carr suffered a significant groin strain in last Thursday's loss to the Chargers. He was expected to miss time, but Carr is now expected to start this weekend in a must-win game for Las Vegas. Those hoping to see Marcus Mariota make his first start in a Raiders uniform will have to wait. It's good news for the Raiders pass-catchers, especially tight end Darren Waller, but Carr will be an extremely shaky QB2 at risk of re-injury on Saturday. Miami's defense has also been tough against signal-callers of late, allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to QBs in the last five weeks, including just three passing scores. With fantasy titles on the line, Carr should only be started in superflex leagues.
