4 years agoMinnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph (foot), running back Alexander Mattison (concussion) and linebacker Eric Kendricks (calf) have been ruled out for Friday's Christmas Day game against the Saints. Rudolph will miss his third straight game. Irv Smith Jr. has seven catches for 100 yards and one touchdown in the last two games with Rudolph out and will be a touchdown-dependent TE2 against New Orleans. Mattison returned last week after missing two games following an appendectomy, but he couldn't make it through the league's concussion protocol. Dalvin Cook should be in line for another heavy workload as a high-end RB1. Kendricks will miss his fourth straight game and may not return in Week 17.
