Broncos Defense Facing Chargers For Second Time
4 years agoThe Denver Broncos and their 21st-ranked defense will square off against the division-rival Chargers and their seventh-ranked offense under impressive rookie quarterback Justin Herbert for the second time in 2020 in Week 16. Denver allowed 30 points in the Week 8 last-second victory. Herbert went 29-for-43 for 278 yards passing, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Buffalo and quarterback Josh Allen thrashed the Broncos for over 500 yards of offense and 40-plus points last weekend, showing that the Broncos Defense is limping to the finish line with just two games remaining. Herbert has thrown only 10 interceptions in his first 13 NFL starts, plus the Broncos defense hasn't exactly been a turnover machine in 2020. Their defensive unit is on the outside looking in for fantasy relevance to close out the season.
