Jerry Jeudy Trying To Break Out Of Slump
4 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy appears to have hit the proverbial rookie wall. He hasn't had more than three catches in a game since Week 10 against the Raiders and had only one reception on five targets for 19 yards in last week's loss to Buffalo. But he'll get a Chargers Defense in Week 16 that has been vulnerable to the big play this year, an area where Jeudy excels. The Alabama product caught four of 10 targets for 73 yards in the first meeting with the Bolts in Week 8, but Tim Patrick was also out that week with an injury. Jeudy does see passes down the field when quarterback Drew Lock targets him, but he's also caught just 45.1 percent of his 91 targets in 2020. There's a chance that the 21-year-old gets back on track this Sunday, but fantasy managers in their championship game shouldn't be willing to find out. Jeudy is on the WR4/5 borderline at this point.
