Tyler Boyd In Concussion Protocol
4 years agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol, according to head coach Zac Taylor. Boyd left the team's Monday night win over the Steelers early with the head injury and didn't return to the contest. The 26-year-old is highly questionable to play in Week 16 on a short week against the Texans, and he'll have to be cleared from the protocol this week in order to have a shot. With either Ryan Finley or Brandon Allen under center, Boyd would be a low-ceiling WR4/flex even if he wasn't dealing with an injury. He simply can't be trusted with a fantasy title on the line this week. If he isn't cleared in time, rookie Tee Higgins, A.J. Green and Alex Erickson would have more opportunities in three-receiver sets.
