John Brown Remains On Injured Reserve
4 years agoBuffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that wide receiver John Brown (ankle) will practice on Wednesday, but he remains on Injured Reserve. Brown is trending in the right direction and could be activated to play in time for Monday night's meeting with the division-rival Patriots. New England's secondary will be much more vulnerable without All-Pro cornerback Stephon Gilmore (quadriceps), but Brown has not played since Week 10 and could be eased back into the fray if he's active for this one. Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley will remain the team's top pass-catchers, but Brown's return would put a serious dent in rookie Gabriel Davis' flex appeal in deeper leagues. Consider Brown a risky boom/bust WR4/flex if he plays in Week 16.
