Eagles Opening Practice Window For DeSean Jackson
4 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles are opening the 21-day practice window for wide receiver DeSean Jackson (ankle) on Monday, according to a source. Jackson is currently on Injured Reserve but is trying to return before the end of the season. The oft-injured deep threat hasn't played since Week 7 and is a long shot to return any kind of fantasy value, even if your league plays through Week 17. The 34-year-old is trying to return from a high-ankle sprain and should remain on the waiver wire in most single-year formats after catching 13 passes on 25 targets for 155 scoreless yards in four games in 2020. D-Jax was injured last year as well and played in just three games in his first year back in Philly. Even if Jackson returns for one of the final two regular season games, he'd likely have a limited role behind rookie Jalen Reagor, Alshon Jeffery, Greg Ward Jr., Travis Fulgham and rookie Quez Watkins.
