Melvin Gordon III Finds The End Zone Twice On Saturday
4 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III had one of his best games of the season in the 48-19 loss to the Bills on Saturday in Week 15. Gordon carried the ball 11 times for 61 yards and two touchdowns while also adding four catches on four targets for 20 yards in the passing game. The first-year Bronco was once again the more efficient back over Phillip Lindsay, who had an equal 11 carries. He was a nice surprise for anyone that used him in their fantasy semifinals, as Gordon hadn't found the end zone in his previous three games. The presence of Lindsay in this backfield will continue to hurt Gordon's overall fantasy upside, but he's proved he's the better back and should at least carry low-end RB2 value into Week 16 against the Bolts. Gordon also has more appeal in PPR leagues, catching seven passes for 43 yards in the last two weeks.
