4 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees (lung, ribs) will be the team's starting quarterback in Week 15 against the Chiefs, according to a source. The Saints believe that Brees is fully healthy and doctors have cleared him to play. The future Hall of Famer had no setbacks in practice this week, didn't feel pain and took the first-team repetitions in practice. Jameis Winston will continue to serve as the No. 2 QB, while Taysom Hill will go back to being a jack of all trades. Brees' return is good news for running back Alvin Kamara, wide receiver Michael Thomas and tight end Jared Cook. The Chiefs Defense has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to QBs in the last five weeks, giving Brees some upside in this matchup. However, he'll be more of a low-end QB1/high-end QB2 with some extra risk this weekend in his first game back from a pretty serious and painful injury.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
