4 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler (quadriceps) is expected to play on Thursday night against the division-rival Raiders. Ekeler has yet to rush for 100 yards in a single game in 2020, but he should be considered a strong RB1 against a Raiders defense that will be missing four starters due to injury on Thursday. They also just fired their defensive coordinator and have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to the running back position, including 16 total rushing touchdowns, which is tied for the most in the NFL. Ekeler has seen 34 targets since returning to the lineup from injury in Week 12. Kalen Ballage and Joshua Kelley combined for 143 total yards and a touchdown against Las Vegas when Ekeler was on Injured Reserve in Week 9.
