Cardinals Defense Could Deliver In Week 15
4 years agoThe Cardinals Defense had one of their best performances of the year in Week 14 against the New York Giants. They held the Giant to just 159 yards of offense and seven points. This week, the Cardinals face the Philadelphia Eagles, who are averaging just 21.3 points per game on the year. Last week, the Eagles offense got a boost from rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts, who rushed for 106 yards in his first career NFL start. Hurts will make his second career NFL start in Week 15 against the Cardinals. With game tape now available on Hurts, the Cardinals may stand to have a better chance to stop Hurts than his Week 14 opponent, the New Orleans Saints. With the Cardinals offense struggling over the past month, this game has a chance to be somewhat low-scoring. The Cardinals defense is a potential starting option in Week 15, but they're a bit risky as they've had an uneven season all-around.
