David Johnson Back From COVID-19 List
4 years agoThe Houston Texans activated running back David Johnson from the COVID-19 list on Wednesday after he was deemed a high-risk close contact and was forced to miss the Week 14 game. Johnson did not practice on Wednesday. The 29-year-old should be back in action this weekend against the Colts, but he'll be more of an RB3/flex while likely sharing touches with Duke Johnson. Indy's defense has been more vulnerable to the run of late, but overall this year they've been one of the better overall defenses in the league. David Johnson had 10 carries for 44 yards and a touchdown in the first meeting with the Colts just two weeks ago. His return will be an obvious hit to Duke Johnson's flex upside in PPR setups.
