4 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas (ankle) was unable to practice on Wednesday, along with receiver Deonte Harris (neck). It's likely just an extra day of rest for Thomas after he's struggled with his ankle injury in 2020. The 27-year-old All-Pro caught all eight of his targets for 84 yards in the Week 14 loss to the Eagles. Thomas will probably be better off once quarterback Drew Brees (lung, ribs) is back in the fold, but he's been trending in the right direction with eight-plus targets, eight-plus catches and at least 84 yards receiving in three of the four games since Taysom Hill took over under center. Thomas will be a solid WR2 in Week 15 against the Chiefs if he plays, but KC has allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to wideouts this year.
