Cole Anthony Rookie Outlook
4 years agoOrlando Magic guard Cole Anthony is an interesting player to keep an eye on this season and should be able to earn minutes as the backup point guard behind Markelle Fultz. Anthony's college results weren't great, as he shot just 38 percent from the field and turned the ball over 3.5 times per game, but we hear plenty of talk about the intangibles with Anthony, so we don't want to just ignore him. His high school production and tape were exceptional. He can create separation with ease, clearing out space to get his shot up or to drive. He's a pesky defender. He can work off-ball. But the shooting, the turnovers, and the struggles to finish inside make him a risky deep-league fantasy pick, albeit one with upside.
