Deebo Samuel Has Just One Touch Before Getting Injured
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury on his first touch of the game in Week 14 against the Washington Football Team. Samuel took a carry nine yards and then came up limping as he went out of bounds. He left the game after the play and didn't return. Samuel's absence opened things up for a massive game for Brandon Aiyuk, who caught 10 of 16 targets for 116 yards. Samuel was dealing with a foot contusion in practice this past week so the hamstring injury this week just adds to the long list of injuries he's dealt with in 2020. He might be tough to trust going forward given his inability to stay healthy.
