K.J. Hamler Has Been A Non-Factor Lately
4 years agoIn the last two games, Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver K.J. Hamler has a grand total of two catches on five targets for 16 yards. Excluding the debacle in Week 12 against the Saints, Hamler has six receptions on 11 targets for 51 yards in his last two performances with quarterback Drew Lock active. The speedy slot man from Penn State could have a bright future, but his 2020 fantasy picture isn't as rosy with Lock struggling with accuracy issues. Denver's recipe for success on offense this year has been to run the football effectively and avoid having to rely on Lock taking shots down the field. The Broncos wideouts haven't seen much volume, and Hamler is the fourth receiving option, at best. The 21-year-old should remain on the waiver wire in standard-sized redraft leagues.
