4 years agoThe Carolina Panthers activated wide receiver Curtis Samuel, linebacker Shaq Thompson and defensive tackle Derrick Brown from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday. All three are practicing after having been deemed high-risk close contacts. D.J. Moore tested positive early this week and won't play in Week 14 against Denver, giving Samuel and Robby Anderson more upside. Denver's secondary has allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to receivers in the last five weeks, but they also just lost A.J. Bouye to suspension and Essang Bassey to an injury. Samuel is the team's top receiver in the last five weeks and should at least be a WR3/flex with upside this weekend. Thompson ranks 28th in IDP leagues in total fantasy points this year with 50 tackles. His return is a boost to a Panthers Defense that is firmly in play for fantasy lineups on Sunday against a very mediocre Broncos offense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
