4 years agoNew York Giants head coach Joe Judge said that he's "optimistic" that quarterback Daniel Jones (hamstring) can return in Week 14 against the Cardinals after sitting out the Week 13 upset win over the Seahawks. Jones will take part in Wednesday's walk-through practice, but the true test of his availability this weekend will come Thursday and Friday. The second-year signal-caller will be given every chance to start this coming Sunday. The Arizona defense has been in the middle of the pack as far as defending opposing quarterbacks this season, but Jones and the New York offense had been trending up in recent weeks before he tweaked his hammy in Week 12. The Giants pass-catchers will have more of a ceiling if Jones returns, while he'll be more of a midrange QB2 if he makes his return to the field.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
