Dez Bryant Tests Positive For COVID-19
4 years agoBaltimore Ravens wide receiver Dez Bryant announced on his Twitter page on Tuesday that he was pulled from the field before the Week 13 game against the Cowboys after the team learned that he had tested positive for COVID-19. Bryant also posted that he's "going to go ahead and call it a quit for the rest of the season. I can't deal with this." The good news for the Ravens is that no high-risk close contacts were identified. The 32-year-old veteran obviously wasn't active against his old team, and he might be done for the rest of the year. Bryant resurfacing in the NFL for the first time since 2017 has been a cool story this year, but he's had just four catches on seven targets for 28 yards in three games played and has spent most of his time on Baltimore's practice squad. Rookies James Proche II and Devin Duvernay will get more chances behind Marquise Brown and Miles Boykin on Tuesday.
