4 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays are among the teams with interest in free-agent right-hander Mike Fiers, according to a source. Fiers, 35, went 6-3 with a 4.58 ERA in 11 starts for the A's during the shortened 2020 season, adding 37 strikeouts in his 59 innings pitched. The veteran right-hander doesn't move the needle all that much in fantasy, but he's a reliable innings-eater for major league teams and has averaged 30 starts and 172 innings a season from 2015 to 2019. With Toronto already re-signing Robbie Ray, Fiers would help fortify the back end of the starting rotation. From a fantasy perspective, moving to the American League East and hitter-friendly Toronto would make Fiers even less attractive to fantasy managers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
