Noah Fant Should Have Decent Floor Against Chiefs
4 years agoDenver Broncos tight end Noah Fant carries the distinction of being the only player to catch a pass in the Week 12 blowout loss to the Saints. We'd be pretty surprised if Fant doesn't improve on that number in a Week 13 meeting with the division-rival Chiefs on Sunday night. Kansas City's defense has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends in the last five weeks. Fant caught only three passes for 38 yards against them in their first meeting, but that game was in the snow and he was battling an ankle injury. The 23-year-old hasn't found the end zone since Week 2, but he should see a safe target floor in a game in which the Broncos will likely have to throw much more than they'd like to. At such a shallow position in fantasy, Fant should serve as at least a viable low-end TE1 in Week 13.
