Jason Peters Moving To Right Guard
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jason Peters (toe) will be moving to right guard and Jordan Mailata will be moving back to left tackle for the team's Week 12 game against the Seahawks on Monday night, according to sources. Peters has been giving it his all but has been playing through turf toe on his point foot on his left foot, and it was aggravated in the Week 11 loss to the Browns. The Eagles initially brought the 38-year-old Peters back to play right guard, but they eventually moved him when left tackle Andre Dillard suffered a season-ending injury. Peters has started six games at left tackle this year. Mailata, a seventh-round pick in 2018, started four games earlier this year at left tackle when Peters was on Injured Reserve. Despite the injuries to the O-line, Philly's run blocking has been top notch this season.
