Tony Pollard Gets Six Touches On Thanksgiving
4 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard ran the ball four times for 12 yards and caught two passes for 10 yards. He was targeted those two times only. Pollard was on the field a bit more than usual with starter Ezekiel Elliott checking in and out of the game with an apparent injury, but the Cowboys just didn't use the running game much in this one, likely due to the fact that two starting offensive linemen were forced to leave the game on the very first drive. Elliott's injury did not appear serious, but Pollard would be an immediate RB2 if Elliott did in fact have to miss a game.
