Andy Dalton Struggles Behind An Injured Line
4 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton struggled behind an injured offensive line in a 41-16 loss to the Washington Football Team. On the first Cowboys drive of the game, both Zack Martin (calf) and Cam Erving (knee) limped off the field and into the locker room. Dalton ended up completing 25 of his 35 passes for 215 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He added 17 yards on three carries. Dalton should have had another score, but rookie CeeDee Lamb dropped a touchdown in the end zone while it was still a close game. Dalton was far from great in this one, but he was even farther from being the reason the Cowboys lost. He'll continue as a QB2 but at least is able to make the Cowboys receivers back into startable fantasy assets.
