4 years agoFree agent forward Derrick Jones Jr. is leaving the Miami Heat and is signing a two-year, $19 million deal with the Portland Trail Blazers. Best known for his incredibly leaping ability, DJJ started 16 games in Miami this past season. For the year, he averaged 8.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game while shooting 52.7 percent from the floor. If he can connect on his three more efficiently and beats out Gary Trent Jr. for backup wing minutes, Jones can have late-round fantasy value, though he won't be one of the safer options around.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
