Eagles Expected To Sign Jordan Howard
4 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles are expected to sign free-agent running back Jordan Howard to their practice squad after he clears the COVID-19 protocols, according to a source. Howard was cut by the Dolphins three days ago after he produced just 33 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 28 carries (1.2 yards per carry) over just five games. He'll rejoin the Eagles after spending the 2019 season with them and seeing 119 carries for 525 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games. The 26-year-old also added 10 catches for 69 yards and another score. Howard knows this offense and will provide depth behind Miles Sanders and Boston Scott with Corey Clement going on the COVID-19 list on Thursday. Howard can be left on the waiver wire in 12- and 14-team leagues.
