Phillip Lindsay Hard To Trust Heading Into Week 11
4 years agoDenver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay barely put up any points for fantasy managers last week against the Raiders, running the ball a season-low four times for two yards and failing to catch his only target in the passing game. We'd expect Denver to try and get their running game going against the Dolphins in Week 11, but Lindsay just hasn't had many opportunities with Melvin Gordon stealing touches and the Broncos falling behind by multiple scores early in games. Gordon has been the favored back and has seen more targets in the passing game. The 26-year-old needs positive game script to accumulate more carries, and that may not happen against Miami, especially if quarterback Drew Lock (ribs) doesn't play. Lindsay is becoming a hard-to-trust, low-end RB3/flex in deeper leagues.
