4 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) is not expected to practice on Wednesday, according to a source. Head coach Matt Rhule has been optimistic that McCaffrey can play in Week 11 against the Lions, but a missed practice to begin the week isn't a good sign. As things stand now, fantasy managers shouldn't expect the All-Pro running back to play this weekend. Mike Davis, who once again averaged over four yards per carry last week with McCaffrey sidelined, may be the team's featured back once again. If McCaffrey misses his second straight game, Davis will be in the low-end RB1 picture in a great matchup against a Lions Defense that has allowed 13 total rushing touchdowns (most in the NFL) and the most fantasy points per game to running backs.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
