Laviska Shenault Jr. To Return To Practice This Week
4 years agoJacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone said that rookie wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. (hamstring) will return to practice this week, but the team will "wait and see" if he's ready to play in Week 11 against the undefeated Steelers. Shenault missed the team's Week 10 loss to the Packers. Fantasy managers will want to keep a watchful eye on the rookie's practice participation throughout the week. The 22-year-old scored in his first career game in Week 1 but has tailed off of late, catching just seven passes on 11 targets in his last three games. Shenault won't be all that attractive as a WR4/flex if he returns this weekend either, especially with rookie quarterback Jake Luton making another start. Shenault's return would also mean potentially fewer looks for D.J. Chark Jr. and Keelan Cole.
