Teddy Bridgewater's Injury Not Considered Serious
4 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (knee) suffered a knee injury late in the fourth quarter in the Week 10 loss to the Buccaneers and did not return to the game. Bridgewater underwent an MRI exam on Sunday night, and his knee isn't considered to be a major injury. His ACL is intact and he hasn't been ruled out for Week 11 against the Lions. Bridgewater threw for just 136 yards in the game before leaving, but thankfully for anyone that started him, he was able to throw two touchdowns and added another one with his legs despite also throwing an interception in the game. Fantasy managers will need to keep a close eye on Bridgewater's practice status this week. If he can't go next weekend, it would be P.J. Walker under center against Detroit. Update: According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, Bridgewater's MRI exam showed no structural damage in his knee.
