Alshon Jeffery Likely To Be Limited If He's Active
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (calf) appears likely to make his long-awaited season debut in Week 10 against the New York Giants. However, his workload might be rather minimal at the start. On Friday, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said, "Realistically, it's going to take some time," in reference to Jeffery's return to speed. For now at least, it seems safe to expect Travis Fulgham, Greg Ward Jr. and rookie Jalen Reagor to all have a bigger role than Jeffery. While Jeffery is someone worth keeping an eye on in deep fantasy leagues, he shouldn't be started in any format until we see him produce on the field.
