Joey Bosa Still In Concussion Protocol
4 years agoLos Angeles Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn said that defensive end Joey Bosa (concussion) will take part in individual drills in practice on Wednesday, but the pass-rusher remains in the league's concussion protocol. Bosa was inactive in the Week 9 loss to the division-rival Raiders, but he looks to be making progress this week and has a chance to return for the Week 10 matchup against the Dolphins on the road. The 25-year-old's return would be bad news for Dolphins rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, so keep an eye on Bosa's practice status the rest of the week. The two-time Pro Bowler continues to struggle with injuries, but he remains productive in pressuring the opposing signal-caller when he's active. He has 18 tackles (14 solo), eight tackles for loss, 13 QB hits and 4.5 sacks in seven games this year. Bosa will be worthy of a starting lineup spot in IDP leagues if he's active against Miami.
