Nick Chubb Expected To Return To Practice This Week
4 years agoCleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb (knee), who has missed four games with an MCL sprain, has been attacking his rehab and is ahead of schedule. Chubb is expected to be back at practice this week and the team is hopeful that he can play in Week 10 against the Texans. The Browns officially designated him to return from Injured Reserve. Monitor the 24-year-old's practice status throughout the week, but if he winds up being active, fantasy managers will want to get him back into all starting lineups. Chubb went over 100 yards rushing in two of his four games and had four touchdowns before suffering his knee injury. He'll have plenty of upside against a Houston defense allowing the third-most fantasy points to running backs per game. Kareem Hunt's ceiling will be lowered when Chubb returns, but he proved earlier this year that he can still be a starting-caliber running back for fantasy managers in PPR leagues with Chubb on the field.
