Dez Bryant Activated From Practice Squad
4 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens elevated wide receiver Dez Bryant from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday, which is a sign that he'll make his debut with the team in Week 9 against the Colts. It's a cool story for the veteran wideout, but he hasn't seen action in an NFL game since 2017 and he's unlikely to see many targets, if any at all, on Sunday. Quarterback Lamar Jackson was praising the 32-year-old in practice this week, but don't expect Bryant to be on the field for a large number of snaps in his first game with Baltimore. He'll serve as receiver depth behind Marquise Brown, Miles Boykin, Willie Snead and rookies Devin Duvernay and James Proche II.
