4 years agoThe Kansas City Chiefs placed star defensive tackle Chris Jones on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday. Jones reportedly didn't test positive for COVID-19, so it remains to be seen if he'll be available against the Panthers in Week 9. Losing the 2019 Pro Bowler would be a big subtraction for the Chiefs Defense this weekend. The former second-round pick in 2016 had a career-high 15.5 sacks in 2018, nine sacks last year and 4.5 sacks in seven games so far in 2020. Jones has also added 22 tackles (13 solo), 12 QB hits and two fumble recoveries. Those in IDP leagues might have to pivot in another direction if they were planning on using him at the defensive end position on Sunday. The Chiefs defense is still a top-10 play against Carolina, but they'll lose a little luster if Jones is on the sidelines.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
