4 years agoDetroit Lions backup quarterback Chase Daniel would get the nod in Week 9 against the Vikings if Matthew Stafford is ruled out after being placed on the COVID-19 list as a high-risk close contact of a non-team member on Wednesday. The Vikings have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this year, but Daniel would still be a mostly unappealing low-end QB2 option if he gets the start this weekend. The Lions will also likely be without No. 1 receiver Kenny Golladay (hip) after he injured his hip in the Week 8 contest. Stafford will have some QB1 upside against the division-rival Vikings if he's cleared in time for Sunday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
